The Blood Angels concept of an Apothecary; the Sanguinary Priests control the Red Thirst that has gripped the Sons Of Sanguinius since the death of their Primarch. The Sanguinary Priests help the Blood Angels marshal their bloodthirsty nature but also quiet the hunger for brutal carnage before it overtakes them.

The new Sanguinary Priest miniature comes properly kitted out for doing their thing on the battlefield. As well as the regular trappings of the Apothecary, they also carry their goblet and a host of other relics. You can also go down different routes with the miniatures' heads, opting for three different helmet options.
Leading the way for the rest of your regular Blood Angels, you can also get a new plastic kit for the Blood Angels Captain.

Wearing sculpted armour, your Captain(s) can choose from the likes of an inferno pistol, relic blade, chainsword and powerfist. You can also choose two different stances as well, either at the ready or in a relaxed stance.

You'll note that the set also comes with different head and pauldron designs as well as other accessories to nail home the look and feel of the Blood Angels.
These miniatures will be coming out later this year after the Army Set alongside the Codex and more. We've still to see the new Sanguinary Guard which must be coming at some point.
Are you going to be picking up a Blood Angels army?

Sanguinary Priest? Look at that drill, that’s a dentist!
I have to go visit one on Wednesday. 35 year old filling to be replaced. I opted for full sedation. ?
The photo of the gold marine made me think this was an Age of Sigmar release! But the new BAs look good. It’s nice they’re putting more options for builds instead of having to convert your own.
