Space Marine Battleforce // Warhammer 40,000

As always, Space Marines are part of the mix. This set actually looks like a pretty solid option for getting started with a lot of Space Marines all at once though. You've got a solid set of troops in there, some more elite options and a Storm Speeder.

Sticking with the Imperium, we also have the faithful Adepta Sororitas.

This seems lighter on the actual foot troops but it does give you a couple of big vehicles. The Immolator and the Exorcist should keep you covered as you advance into battle. You could probably do with a few more basic Sisters Of Battle to bulk out the ranks.

We also have the constantly meddling and tinkering forces of the Adeptus Mechanicus.

Adeptus Mechanicus Battleforce // Warhammer 40,000

Your Tech-Priest takes control of a pretty mixed force of different units. You've got stealthy infiltrators, solid options for your core troops, fast attack cavalry and a few swooping flyers too. I think this, alongside the Space Marine one, is probably the best of the sets for someone looking to get a varied and complete army.

Forces Of Chaos

Stepping away from the Imperium, we have some of its deadliest foes. The Death Guard are rumbling forward with a fairly armoured Battleforce.

Three massive Myphitic Blight-haulers and a Plagueburst Crawler are at the heart of this force and you've also got the brutal Deathshroud Bodyguard. Whilst there is a bunch of more elite options here, it does feel like it is a little more balanced compared to the similarly weighted Adepta Sororitas force.

The Xenos Threat

Capping things off, we also have a couple of Xenos armies for you to consider. We start with an Ork force which comes with a bunch of the brand new Ork Boyz alongside some mechanised options.

A big Deffkilla Wartrike, a whole Dakka Jet and even a gaggle of Grots, it seems like you've got plenty to play with here. I think you could probably get away with adding a few Trukks into the mix and you'd have a solid force that is eager to get to grips with the enemy.

Lastly, we have a band of Necrons who have been awoken from their Tomb World to claim back their ancient empire.

Necrons Battleforce // Warhammer 40,000

Again, just the one unit of Necron Warriors but an army supported by loads of towering elite options. This might end up actually being a good Battleforce to pick up if you wanted to supplement an existing army. Use this to get all of the different options available to a Necron player in one set.
