Games Workshop isn't doing much of an update on the miniatures front for Warhammer 40,000 this weekend but you will be able to pre-order the new Chapter Approved books for 2021.

These new books are going to be key for those engaging in matched play, especially if that involves heading off to a tournament or two now restrictions are being lifted. All of the updated points values for units and wargear are included in the Munitorum Field Manual.
The Grand Tournament Mission Pack when comes with nine missions for Incursion and Strike Force scale battles. You'll also find an updated list of secondary objectives and more within. Effectively, this is the next big update for those who want to dive into the more granular aspect of Warhammer 40,000.
Do you play with points or are you more of a fan of Power ratings and perhaps the Crusade mode of play?

That’s pretty much most buy to every 40k player.
I’m not sure if the ‘new’ one has anything to add that the old one didn’t.
Given its focus on tournaments I expect a lot of tweaking that means nothing to non tournament folk.
The first one was useful as a small rules summary.
My local club (in New Zealand) has a tourney on the weekend those books come out…
Wil be the second one they have held since the virus broke out.
Just the thing for all the armchair General’s out their?
