It is that time of year again. Halloween is out of the way, Free stops saying the term "Spooky Season" and propels into the "Festive Season", Christmas is on the way, which means special alternative sculpts, and limited edition miniatures as part of 2021's season of giving.

This year's Warhammer 40k limited edition miniature has been revealed, bringing Da Red Gobbo back to the tabletop, atop of his Bounca to cause much Christmas Chaos of 2021.

The miniature was teased as part of Warhammer Day celebrations, where players were shown a short video showcasing this year's Warhammer 40k miniature.

This will be the third time that we have seen a reiteration of Da Red Gobbo. Watching him grow through the evolutions of Warhammer starting at 1998, to 2019 and returning once more for 2021.

I know that there are a lot of people out there waiting for some playable rules to add this wacky and zany character into the game, so hold tight. Games Workshop has been confirmed to have a Warhammer Legends datasheet on the way in the December issue of White Dwarf, along with 40k rules using the streamlined 'Power Level' system.

Da Gobbo's Revenge // The Black Library

Along with the festive miniature, Da Red Gobbo will be front lining his own novel from The Black Library too. With a new novel coming to our shelves brought to us by the well known Mike Brooks, brings 'Da Gobbo's Revenge', because who would not want to read about the backwards antics of a green-skin at Christmastime!

If you are looking for something a little cosier this Christmas, and have your eyes peeled for this year's plushie. This year will be in theme with Da Red Gobbo - bringing his candy-coated squig mount, Bounca, for a bit more love and attention over the holidays!

If you are keen on getting Da Red Gobbo, pre-orders for the limited edition miniature will be live on Saturday, November 6th. So you can get in early with plenty of time to paint him up before Christmas. But if you wanted the story of Da Red Gobbo to read as a bedtime story whilst clutching on to your squig plush, you will have to wait a little longer.
