The Knight Acheron Adds To Forge World’s Line-Up!
September 26, 2014 by brennon
Forge World have yet another knight for you to add to your grim dark wargaming. See what you think of the Cerastus Knight-Acheron, a being built for close combat destruction...
This new knight comes with a reaper chainfist, twin-linked heavy bolters and a self-named flame cannon. All of this sounds like it's meant to destroy your enemies in close combat and take on infantry and some smaller vehicles.
This beast can appear in a Horus Heresy Mechanicum army and also an Imperial Knights army for Warhammer 40,000. It's certainly not a bad miniature and once again they've got this cool aesthetic running through each of their pieces. But, I think I prefer the standard Warhammer 40,000 Knight compared to this one. I think it looks a little spindly!
What do you think?

Oh, I so love the chainfist in this model and the flamer looks cool too. Slaanesh cultists would die to be killed by it 😉
Impressive! That is one epic chainfist that Archeron has.
Whoa! I give it a ‘seriously stompy’ out of ten!
twin-linked chainsword? o_O
Cuts through butter twice as fast… 🙂
This one looks like it can be easily converted to chaos.
Love it love the head makes it looks like a giant cylon?
That looks like a serious peice of heretic flambé-ing kit right there. The giant twin chainfist of vehicle shredding is just the right mix of epic and yet slightly silly to fit right in to 40K.
I’m really not a fan of those chicken legs. It just looks wrong on a knight. But each to his own, I suppose…
The twin-linked chainswords are kinda odd, but overall the armament doesn’t look bad.
