Thanks John, I’m really enjoying this series. Makes me want to actually pick up a brush!
I’m glad I can help get brushes in hands 🙂
Looking great. Tau look great with a bit of dirt! Can’t wait to get up and fight with these guys!
Oh I can’t wait until I actually get my hobby corner set back up. This series has kept the home fires burning for me and once I can move onto the next project in the house then the paint area will be up and running.
Great series and keep up the good work.
Loving this series, and this is probably my favourite episode so far. This walkthrough on preparing and painting large vehicles quickly and effectively will no doubt prove as useful for historical tanks as it does for 40k vehicles.
I have collected 40k and Bolt Action armies, but have never got as much satisfaction from painting the armoured vehicles that they demand. This tutorial may well have provided the inspiration for some paint jobs I can really be proud of.
Thanks John!
It is like listening to the Bob Ross of weaponry.
These are looking really sexy. Love watching the techniques you use for big armies.
@johnlyons I’m really enjoying this series and it is reminding me of things I need to do with the Enforcer Interceptor that is awaiting painting.
I’m really enjoying this series too. It’s really quite exciting seeing such a large number of vehicles (which I think are normally really boring to paint and hard to do well) coming together so effectively and so quickly. Really inspiring.
Looking real good John. I can’t wait to see how close you came to the existing paint job.
Really enjoying this series John. I picked up a somewhat bashed up Tau army off eBay recently and this is inspiring me to think about taking it all right back to a clean start. The water activated removable wash is a new product on me and really suits the scheme, and I think will help with the standard ochre of the Tau I would have to match – it sure beats pin washing. I love it when you show off products or paint colours I have not seen before. Thanks!
Bang up job so far John. The video series is spot on. Really enjoying the pace you are keeping.
fantastic job with the Tau john.
Im starting to want Tau now! Im going to have to stop watching!!
I have to say I’m excited to see the stuff on the 40k armies! It might sound like something so simple but also, I liked finally seeing some of the sponge work as its something ive often heard about but never seen (until now 🙂 )
