I think it’s Watto, not Gwatto.
correct, we also would have accepted Noel
Your reply alongside your avatar… it’s.. just… golden! lol!
exciting plans ahead. I should “accidentally” leave an army there on the off chance it gets painted.
I think John’s plan to have a neutral city scheme is a good one, if it’s a piece of military hardware I can’t imagine they’d be painting buildings to match troops uniforms. Also having a neutral white means it will fit various mats as well.
but then it has to also ‘accidentally’ dissappear …
Or is that why you’re visiting them that often ? 😉
Sneaking out fully painted armies one model at a time …
shhhh don’t let them know my cunning plan!
Tau are one of those armies that appeared while my back was turned. I really like then in general, and these in particular. Nice paintjobs.
Tau and imperial guard are still my favourite 40k armies.
I’ve got loads for both sitting around still in their original boxes..oh well, one day..!
you have unpainted things Andy? I’m shocked considering the speed you paint at, you were my beacon shining in a world of unpainted miniatures.
Same. I guess they are two forces that I think you can relate too.
Imperial guard, us being human that is a given.
Tau are fundamentally poor, and being in this hobby that is a given.
I cannot relate to Death Guard because I dont have the plaque
Awesome! I can’t wait to see all the stuff finished.
@warzan, why dont you print a turret to put the rail guns on it. With how I told you to do a turret.
Ohh good idea 🙂
you hadn’t thought of that yet ?
I was expecting to be hearing : “I’m so gonna print that on my 3D printer …”
😉
sweet another great project to fallow !
Cool! My Tau army is sort of sitting abandoned in storage. Hope to get them out again someday. This might inspire me. You should keep the original guns on the turtle-bot. It looks nice as it is. The size of the rail guns would just be a distraction. And the original guns would work well as heavy plasma guns or maybe even fusion blasters. I think Lloyd’s finished tank looks serviceable. Just needs a dark wash and a bit more detailing to blend it in to the expedition force. And you definitely need a lot more Fire Warriors. Not only… Read more »
Why no Breacher Teams?
Love Warren’s control bot idea. It would fit in perfectly.
You mentioned the imperial guard, do you have an imperial guard army?
Sorry, I ment patrol bot not control bot
I don’t want to alarm you guys but the stealth suits are faulty we can see them?
Plus love the spider thingy reminds me of the mechanic logic droid that attacked the train in Mechanicum HH book.
warzan you could try steam & weights to flatten out the wooden panels.
You may have to be careful with going with a white Tau color scheme. You don’t want to end up with Stormtroopers.
All sounding pretty awedome so far guys. Loving the vlogs as usual, keep it up 🙂
Looking good, can’t wait to see more. You guys thinking about grabbing a Storm Surge or 3? Its def the way to go if your looking for some real fire power =)
Looking forward to these article guys love TAU…what about using some humans in the army as the Tau except all races if the except and follow THE GREATER GOOD, i thought of doing this when i read the Tau index and use them like you would the Kroot for assault just an idea…..boy you lads are lucky playing and working at Beast Of War all day….what a life and am envious..lol
Go Tau!
Yeah, you’ll need Fire Warriors and maybe Breacher Teams too, for those transports…
Played my first few games in 8th edition with the Tau and i must say, the new rules have really changed the Tau… hope they fix some of the stuff with their codex and also had humans to the Tau, you know, with the Fall of Cadia, i can see many humans joining them while waving the middle finger to the Imperium 😉
