Games Workshop popped a new teaser trailer onto the internet over the weekend detailing the return of an old-school favourite to Warhammer 40,000. Watch out for the Genestealer Cult Codex coming soon!

Genestealer Cult

The trailer is rather awesome, detailing the motives and the machinations happening behind the scenes as the Genestealer Cult grow in size and strength on Imperial worlds. Of course, we have seen models for the Cult appear already thanks to Deathwatch: Overkill.

Magus

Two characters (seen in the artwork above too) included the Magus and the Primus (below). Everyone was stoked to see them return to the tabletop and I think most people were excited about the possibilities for this faction.

Primus

We would assume that the various 'sets' presented in the Overkill box are going to be popping up in boxed form separately in the near future to compliment the Codex release.

Genestealer Cultists

It would be interesting to see if we also get upgrade kits with Genestealer options so that you can mess around with Astra Militarum vehicles too. You saw what looked like a Taurox (or similar armoured vehicle) in the trailer so it could be a possibility.

Maybe we'll see the fabled Limousine make a return?
