Games Workshop has announced that they are going to be holding Warhammer Day 2022 on Saturday 8th October! It is going to be a mammoth celebration of Warhammer 40,000 this time around and focus on thirty-five years spent playing the game.

The day will be spent talking and playing Warhammer 40,000 across stores and there will also be a big preview of new miniatures for the range from 2pm BST. This will follow the trend of their previous previews and one lucky viewer will also get the chance to win everything that is revealed during the stream.
In addition to the preview, there will also be the chance to pick up a special Black Templar miniature.

Named Bayard's Revenge, this miniature shows an Emperor's Champion slaying an Ork Nob. It is based on an awesome piece of old Warhammer 40,000 artwork and will be available to pre-order on the 8th October via their webstore and picked up from local shops between the 15th and 23rd October.

As a fan of the Black Templars, this gets a big ol' tick from me. I love the dynamism in the sculpt and it really highlights that classic match-up between the Orks and the Black Templars in the lore. If you've got a friend who collects Orks then this might be a fun way to show them who's in charge!

Slicing nob jokes in 1, 2, 3 …
That Black Templar has epic pose.
That’s a nice 3D printed model…you can see the lines In the tabard and the breastplate. It is interesting that they have them paint preproduction copies of the miniatures.
That’s nothing new, the new Eldar Guardians had visible printing lines.
They probably do it this way so that the box art, adverts shots are done before the sprues are done.
(/ ‘з’)/ GW uses Bayard, this is cultural appropriation of the names of the greatest French heroes and accountants, let’s launch a movement to demand a 50% discount to punish them for this serious crime !!!!!
Anything to lower their prices ^^
