Not content with getting us excited thanks to a bevvy of new miniature previews at the Las Vegas Open this year, Games Workshop also set out the Road Maps for three of their big games as we move into 2025. These cover Warhammer Age Of Sigmar, Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: The Old World.

The Mortal Realms looks like it is going to be jam-packed for the rest of 2025. The Orruk Warclans are out this weekend and will soon be followed by the Gloomspite Gitz and the Soulblight Gravelords. The new Ravaged Coast Path To Glory book is also out for those seeking to delve into the narrative side of Warhammer Age Of Sigmar which is good news for me and my group.

Looking further ahead, you have the Idoneth Deepkin emerging from beneath the waves and the Nighthaunt leaping from their graves! All the major factions are getting something in the next few months. Looking even further ahead, we got some teases for three more factions to perhaps close out the year.

If I were to guess, I think we'll be getting the Blades Of Khorne, Kharadron Overlords and the Daughters Of Khaine. All-in-all, a good year for Warhammer Age Of Sigmar awaits even if my Fyreslayers are still a long way off.

The Grimdark Future

Stepping away from The Mortal Realms and into the Grimdark future, we had a peek at what's on the cards for Warhammer 40,000.

Aeldari were teased before Christmas and will be getting a Codex soon alongside the Emperor's Children. It makes sense then that the World Eaters, Death Guard and Thousand Sons are following in the footsteps of their passionate battle brothers. It would also seem like we might be getting the Daemons being folded into each of the Legion Codexes which might be a sign of things to come for Daemons Of Chaos players. We're yet to see if they are going to be getting a dedicated Codex.

The next steps for Warhammer 40,000 players look to involve the Grey Knights, Black Templars and Chaos Knights alongside the intriguing reveal of what appears to be a Salamander. Could they be getting their own Codex and by extension some new miniatures to suit?

The Old World

Last but not least, The Old World will be getting something new as the team dives deeper into 2025. The majority of the original armies are now out in the wild save a couple.

The High Elves were showcased this week and the Beastmen Brayherds and Wood Elf Realms cap off that original set of nine factions. The sneaky image on the far right hints at the tenth faction which I imagine is the long-awaited Cathay. The design of the terrain in the artwork is very reminiscent of the art used for the faction in Total War. That means Kislev might actually turn up!

These Road Maps were much better than the previous ones that Games Workshop released and told us something rather than being vague! The dates are still anyone's guess when it comes to when books will land but at least it gives us some idea of how 2025 might pan out.

What do you make of what Games Workshop have planned for the year?
