Games Workshop Launch Regimental Standard 40K Blog
March 31, 2016 by brennon
Games Workshop have put together a rather nifty blog themed as the place to go if you're an Imperial Guardsmen in need of a new PSA. The Regimental Standard looks like a fun approach to exploring the tactics and the background of the Imperium...
The first two blog posts have looked at the Tau and the Tyranids with some rather funny chatter about the weak and feeble nature of this xenos scum making sure you're not afraid when you face them on the battlefield.
Will you be following this blog?

Who are you and what have you done with GW?
looks great needs a tune/voiceover like Starship troopers?
I actually enjoyed that short read, pretty clever advertising on GW’s part.
Yeah. Nice marketing move, there. I’ll be sure to follow this blog.
Don’t have a copy to check but is this just reprinted imperial infantrymans uplifting primer material?
I don’t recognise it from the Primer (first edition) – but the content is similar
the Primer says that Tyranids are simple beasts and bio-weapons fall apart!
…was there a GW book on alien autopsies?
It certainly feels like it but this will be intentional. Text and artwork seem new tho.
Anyways, I love it and will immediately report to my commissar for ‘medication’… 😎
Good to see so new content again.
Now this does grab my attention, maintains my interest and keeps me engaged. I may not like what GW has done to my beloved Warhammer Fantasy Battle, but it is difficult to knock the Warhammer 40K focus… but I agree the content is very reminiscent of the Black Library’s Imperial Infantryman’s Uplifting Primer. Oh well… recycling and repackaging is not all bad if the content is entertaining… we do buy dvds to watch time and time again and books to read more than once. Perhaps there is a positive outlook for GW?
Great idea, but for some reason I can not get the site to work.
I like it. I want to get the Imperial fever again.
