How To Build Death Guard
As well as that make sure that you check out our Unboxing of Warhammer 40,000: Dark Imperium above and HERE if you want to get stuck into the conversation.

Over all Dark Imperium boxed set has really good content but then again it better have considering high price. It’s important that rulebook that comes with it is full sized one instead of mini version that previous 40k starter sets had. Depending from who you ask it might be either good thing or bad thing. I am in camp that things that it’s good thing.
Definitely a good thing IMO, especially given that there’s also a fold out sheet with the core rules on it separate to the book. Big book provides instant immersion for new players with all of the fluff and cool pictures sadly missing from previous starter sets.
the build guides are also great to see the details on the figures.
@mecha82 the box has both the full size book and an 8-page core rules reference card so has the best of both worlds
I’d argue that it needs a bit of terrain and a few decent tutorial scenarios like Infinity has in their starter sets.
True. Some barricades and/or barrels would be enough. Just something so a new player can get the cover rules in play asap.
Is superglue really necessary for those flight stands ?
I’d thought plain ol’ plastic glue would suffice as it’s not like you’re glueing something that’s going to be seen at all..
I find plastic glue tends to do a poor job on the clear styrene and takes a bit longer to melt the plastic. The new flight stands don’t have a peg that fits up the marine so need something that sets pretty fast. I am sure you could do the job with plastic glue if you wanted though. Just need to be patient and hold the join for a while.
Haven’t played 40k since early 90s and after watching this I ordered the set. Can’t wait to dive in!
