Games Workshop & Forge World Gear Up For Warhammer Fest
February 27, 2016 by brennon
Games Workshop and Forge World are going to be part of Warhammer Fest which will be happening this year at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The dates for what is effectively the new 'Games Day' fall across the weekend of the 14th and the 15th of May...
As well as Games Workshop and Forge World we'll also see Black Library in attendance and of course on the Sunday we'll see Golden Demon kick off. The event has never been quite as big as it used to be the popularity has waned in recent years but maybe we'll see something different from GW this year.
We'll see if more details emerge closer to the time.
Will you be going?

Sunday had all that plus Golden Demon, so I would pick Sunday if only one day I guess. It all seemed a lot more relaxed and adult orientated, which I enjoyed. Of course GW will probably make me look like an… Read more »
How would compare it to old games day? I used to go, and usually really enjoyed them.
I actually prefer the new format.
Feels like there’s more to do but I did enjoy the old old games days when an entire hall for gaming was set out in the NEC before they turned it into the largest GW shop in the world.
The Ricoh event felt more like a proper convention, more grown up I guess is the best way I can describe it.
I’m saving my pennies for Salute… Hope this event gets better press than it has done previously, I’d possibly go if there were more games on display and in fairness to GeeDubs they would appear to be bringing back some old classics but I’ll wait and see for now.
Maybe next year?
