Forge World have awoken another Dreadnought from his slumber. Here we have the Thousand Sons Contemtor Dreadnought who is looking just about ready to blast away his foes and sow slaughter about the battlefield in revenge of those who forced him inside his ceramite cage...

Thounsand Sons Contemptor Dreadnought

"No longer able to fight unaided, the still-living mortal remains of a Legions greatest warriors may be interred within a Contemptor Dreadnought to continue their service.

A large number of these advanced Dreadnoughts were destroyed during the dark days of The Horus Heresy, but some survived and are still in service in the Space Marine Chapters and Chaos Space Marine warbands of the 41st Millennium."

The Contemptor truly is the best looking model of Dreadnought I reckon. The added about of movement they can get into the sculpts makes it a walking tank without the waddle factor of the ones we have see in Warhammer 40,000.

A walking tomb with a penchant for destruction is a fantastic image regardless though. Here's how big the Contemptor is alongside a normal Space Marine.

Thousand Sons Contemptor Dreadnought (Alt)

In typical Forge World style though you don't get the various options for your Dreadnought so when you buy him from the webstore he will be quite 'armless.

Armless Thousand Sons Contemptor Dreadnought

I imagine he could still nut and/or kick you you to death though. Black Knight style.

What do you think?
