Elevating Your Wargames – Showing Off Rampart: Modular Terrain
December 3, 2019 by crew
Warren and Gerry take a bit of time to have a look at the Rampart: Modular Terrain from Archon.
Check Out The Kickstarter Here
"Gothic, sci-fi, terrain lego set" is how Warren describes the Eternal Cathedral box in this collection. The guys certainly have quite a bit of experience with this terrain set having built a massive Warhammer 40K table with it. So in this video the pair showcase some of the attributes of the terrain and show how you might best use it to make a table for your wargames.
Have we reached the peak of tabletop miniature terrain or can we push the medium further?

Love the rampart stuff it looks so good. Video hardly does it credit.
The huge table the guys made for 40k weekend is incredible you are missing out if you haven’t seen it in the flesh. With all these new pieces I can only imagine what could be done with the kit.
Bravo Rampart
This x2.
The other thing you could do with magnets is destructible walls
looks a great inventive system to make complex buildings.
so was that ten or so boxes to build the tables guys?
Thanks for showing us the evolution of the kits, very helpfull. Looking at that awesome table is always inspiring 🙂 Because of the improvments, I’m glad i could’nt go for the first KS but, i don’t think i will resist this too long 🙂
Thanks for the vid guys!
Recently received my Kazumi rpg pledge for my jungle board, really excited to get started! 😀
Speaking of which, I remember winning a basic pledge for rampart about a year ago here on BoW. Any news on that? @dignity ? Thanks 😉
@warzan hope this video is post lurgy. If so glad you’re back on your feet.
Enjoying catching up on stuff as to add to my current woes, now suffering from Montezuma’s revenge.
