Games Workshop has just a few pre-orders lined up for this weekend. Alongside Forge World, they are going to be adding some new bits and bobs into the mix for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy and there will also be some eBook versions of the rules.

So, rather than carrying around another massive tome, you can instead get the Liber Astartes and Liber Hereticus in eBook/EPub form so that you can get all of your statlines and such on your tablet. Included within, you'll find all the content you need for crafting armies of Loyalists and Heretics.

A grand idea and one I wouldn't have thought Games Workshop would do. They stepped away from doing a lot of digital content a few years ago but it's neat to see this returning. The Core Rules for The Horus Heresy are already available digitally so it makes sense to slot the rest of the written content in.

New Bitz & Characters From Forge World

In addition to the new eBooks, there are also some new releases from the Forge World folk. A lot of the new MKIV Heads and Shoulder Pads are going to be made available to pre-order this weekend.

As well as the options for the Dark Angels, there are also going to be options for The Emperor's Children and White Scars. So, if you support one of those Legions you should be able to pick up some fancy new bitz to help customise your force.

Last but not least, there is also a returning character that can be used to lead Dark Angels forces.

Marduk Sedras Lord Of The Twenty-third Order - Warhammer The Horus Heresy

If you want to add some "grim" to your grimdark then this fellow certainly fits the bill. Markus Sedras certainly ticks more 40K boxes than it does Horus Heresy ones but he will look great when leading your army against Heretics.

Having served The Emperor for two and a half centuries, he has seen much and conquered many. He also carries his named sword, the Death Of Worlds which is forged from the fragments of hive arcologies that he has razed. Sounds more like a Heretic to me...

Are you going to be diving in and snapping up some more Horus Heresy releases?
