Get The Details On New Horus Heresy Liber Mechanicum Book

Games Workshop has delved a bit deeper into what's going to be coming soon for those not wanting to play as Space Marines in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. The Liber Mechanicum is just around the corner for those fans of binary.

Similar to Liber Astartest and Liber Hereticus, this is going to be a book that details the Forces Of The Omnissiah. You will be able to dive deep into the Priesthood Of Mars and learn about the weapons, tanks, knights and more that keep the Great Crusade running.
They have quite the neat selection of units for you to choose from too. The Archmagos and towering Knights are just the start.

As you might imagine, the Mechanicum are pretty good at watching and waiting. They have a distinctly robotic approach and style to conducting a battle and that comes through in their Warlord Traits like The Logic Of Victory. Stay out of the fighting and the next turn you can get yourself another Reaction!
Liber Mechanicum Miniatures // Warhammer: The Horus Heresy
If you've ever wanted to walk into battle at the head of a massive army of Knights, Titans, Tanks and mechanically-enhanced soldiers, this seems like the army for you. Admittedly, most of the range is resin at the moment (if not all of it) so it's not going to be cheap. Maybe we'll see some of these miniatures become plastic, at least amongst the rank and file.
Could you be tempted by a Mechanicum army?

I assume at some point they will do plastic kits for all the factions but at the moment this just seems to be the book. The Liber Mechanicum Miniatures are worth looking at if they do come to plastic. Some of the models like the Anacharis Scoria half man half spider. Archmagos Draykavac/Archmagos is perhaps my favorite model of all time just a grim reaper on the back of what looks like the back of an old ship of the line.
I think it will take quite some time before we see plastic Mechanicum minis, if ever. Plastic non legion specific marine miniatures can be used by all Legion players and 40K players so thsi probably has a much higher priority than the other stuff.
Though I do hope for plastic Solar Auxilia.
They are really bringing all new books with release of HH starter box.
It’s going to be great to see the figures an other battle units that will come from this rules set. With get 30K some heavy hitters? that 40K unit’s would kill for.
