Games Workshop have a selection of new Black Library books popping up for pre-order this weekend and whilst there are some fun ones in the mix, one stands out as it's also accompanied by a new Warhammer 40,000 miniature!

Da Big Dakka is another novel by Mike Brooks that follows on from Brutal Kunnin', his awesome book of Orkish mayhem in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Brooks has a flair for writing about the greenskins of the Grimdark Future as you can also dive into stories like Orkboss, Warboss, Packin' Heat and Da Gobbo's Revenge. You can get your Orky fill when you're reading on the loo or right in your ear holes in audiobook form.
In this new novel, Da Big Dakka, Ufthak Blackhawk continues his adventures as he seems to have annoyed Da Meklord. Blackhawk ends up taking his warband into the Webway of all places and finds himself in the deadly Drukhari city of Commorragh! Sounds like a recipe for mayhem.
The mighty Blackhawk gets a new miniature to coincide with the release of the book. Much like other Black Library characters, you'll find rules for him dropping in the future so you can include him in your games of Warhammer 40,000. Perhaps you'll find yourself recreating his adventures on the tabletop.

Blackhawk and his loyal squig, Princess, are going to be rampaging across tabletops soon. Armed with an impressively powerful gun and that hefty hammer, the Drukhari are not going to know what hit them. I like that they've already got a Drukhari head strung around his neck as a trophy.
Are you going to be picking up the new miniature for Blackhawk before diving into the novel? Have you read any of the series before?

Honestly, the gun on the squig kinda just looks silly. It feels like GW are trying too hard to be kerayzee and Orky
Pretty cool, but not quite up to Rogue Trader/2nd edition Pirate Ork standards.
Gonna have to check out those novels to find out if Mr. Brooks really does write ‘orky’……
