New Chaos Daemons & Corrupted Knights From Forge World

Festering Darkness
As you can see he isn't a very happy chap at all. A slithering mass of pus and ruin Cor'Bax is pretty much a nightmare made manifest. I particularly like the other little gribbly monsters on his base at the bottom and the way they've worked on his ripped flesh.
"Those who have witnessed this loathsome disciple of Nurgle in action tell of a tidal wave of rot and disease which spills before Cor’bax as he enters the battlefield. Life corrupts at his touch, and any mortals unfortunate enough to survive are snapped up whole within his gaping maw to slowly perish and fuel the gifts of Nurgle Cor’bax will generously bestow upon the next world he attacks."
Cor'Bax is part of the Horus Heresy Character Series and certainly makes a change from all of these power armoured warriors stepping into the fray. I think the model as a whole is going to be a bit of a marmite one with some loving it and others hating it.
Corrupted Valour
As well as the corrupting influence of Cor'Bax there is a new kit that allows you to turn the Imperial Knight kit into a Chaos Knight ready to reap a toll on the battlefield. See what you think of it below...
The kit gets you corrupted armour plating and the new helmet (with awesome fangs) plus the blood soaked chainsword you see at its side. I can see a lot of people twisting and warping their Imperial Knights into something that would please the Chaos Gods.

I know its not and you did say marmite which I could live on if required as its great, it has been a while though since I have purchased FW. Sorry the Cor’Bax model and a lot of their ilk don’t do it. I would not know what was flash and poor casting to how it should look. I understand what it represents and I suppose Nurgle Demons would not be advancing at a rate of knots. It even looks by focal sorry but this one to/for me would be a complete miss. Nothing wrong with converting your own stuff. I enjoy doing that most of the time as well, but it still doesn’t stop me from appreciating the models above even if I don’t buy them.

manpug, I totally agree appreciate away mate LOL I never even indicated that anyone else share my view it was after a what do you think sort of question, I would never presume to try and force or co-herse any one that way unlike the too many times others (not saying you) seem to see as a way to go on other threads. Please enjoy, convert and do what you like and enjoy.
Cor’Bax… how big is he?!? as he is cheaper than the Great unclean one and Glotkin….
I don’t really understand why Nurgle (and Khorne) seems to get so much love from GW (End of Times had a bunch Nurgle / Khorne stuff, the latter also being in the starter set).
Slaneesh I can accept is tricky to make models that aren’t….too depraved (for want of a better phrase), but Tzeentch seems to get left out in the cold an awful lot despite it probably being the most interesting of the 4 gods.

The Chaos Knight is really nice, but I would be tempted to convert my own. Some of the best chaos stuff I have seen is pure conversion work (and also therefore unique!).
Don’t get me wrong; if you do not have the time for conversion work then there is nothing wrong with buying the stuff.
Cor’Bax is disgustingly good miniature.
The posing of the legs is atrocious. It looks like it’s going to take a shit.
