Burn The Enemy To A Crisp With The Solar Auxilia Flamer Section
December 22, 2014 by brennon
Forge World are heating things up this Christmas with some more Solar Auxilia coming your way just before the big day. See what you think of the Flamer Section hotting up to burn the enemies of mankind...
Certainly some of the best looking in the range so far and I think they benefit from not having the paint job on them this time around. You get to see a lot more of the detail which is nice. I think all the stances are very cool and I think the overall design, with the cool welder masks, make them look dominating.
I reckon that if you didn't fancy using them as something Sci-Fi for the Horus Heresy you could very easily change these to work for steampunk games.
What do you think?

Those are very good indeed.
Gorgeous. Now I know what I’m buying next.
This is the best squad so far for the IG version of 30K.
I wish i could just buy one individual solider, i really like these Solar Auxilia guys but cant afford to buy the whole lot.
cool looking soldiers … somehow reminds me of the Sardaukar from Dune. Detail is starting to look really crisp over at FW.
Not big on the helmets. Look like a welders’ union picket line.
I think that’s the most awesome part haha 😀
BoW Ben
*Insert obligatory ‘burn, baby, burn’ reference*
40 pounds btw … no, not that good, try again 😛
They do look really fantastic. I do find it a bit odd that the enlightened citizens of the 31st millenium find it militarily useful to put all the flamers in one huge squad rather than spread them around between the line units, but they do look very cool.
I thought the same thing. Dont see any reason they cant do that in the 40k time frame.
would be cool if they could fire solid shots as well, plasmalike
Nice!!!, and I thought I had my idea of a 30k fix sorted, drat!.
I am seeing a sweet Necromunda Heavy here as well!
