Games Workshop has been showing off some new Battleforce Options for both Warhammer 40,000 and Age Of Sigmar which are going to be popping up this weekend in time for Christmas.

There are a few different ones for the forces of Warhammer 40,000 including the Space Wolves, Blood Angels, T'au Empire, Chaos Space Marines, Drukhari and Tyranids.
The set for the Space Wolves is very much an add-on to a force you already have but the other sets look like they could work out as a good core for your army to get going. I'm slowly but surely veering away from larger starter sets like this myself as I think they can be quite intimidating a prospect but I can see why they'd be nice offerings for wargamers to pick up.
Age Of Sigmar Battleforces
There are also a few new Battleforce sets dropping for Age Of Sigmar too with the Nighthaunt, Stormcast Eternals, Skaven and Gloomspite Gitz getting some love this year.

I think all of these are pretty good. They give some good options for those wanting to get started across the different Grand Alliances. I think the Gloomspite Gitz one, in particular, would be very fun indeed to play around with!
What do you make of these new Battleforce sets?

Also, you’re supposed to have lots of orks in your army, so with how quickly ork players buy boxes to reinforce their armies, GW doesn’t have as much stock to release “get started” boxes all the time. As for the space marines, they’re the best selling army GW has, so they always have plenty of… Read more »
There is an Adeptus Titanicus box as well. That would be the only one I might pick up
Nice.
