Atztech Brass Etchings from PK-PRO
March 24, 2011 by beerogre
They might not be a lot of use to everyone, but if there are any of you who like to do a little model building, then you can't go wrong with a few brass bits to make the job a little easier.
PK-Pro has a range of new brass bits and pieces due out on April 1st, including bared wire and plant fronds... why not check them out.
Is anyone working on a project with this sort of thing in it?

I may be blind but I can’t see any mention of sizes and scales. Anyone?
I only use etched brass for leaves and plants… It’s rigid yet easily bent. For the rest, I use plasticard… But I’m mainly a fantasy painter.
I would consider using these for post-apoc terrain or basing, if they were properly scaled, to make bent signposts and other metallic debris.
I use it sometimes on large 1/48 scale tanks.
Scale modellers frequently use PE sets
Some of it is mind bogglingly small and inevitably pings into the jaws of the carpet monster.
It can add really nice details but the downside is that the effect is two dimensional.
On 1/72 you can get away with that, For things like grills, mesh and other detailing it is an excellent product.
Figure modellers use it for cap and uniform badges etc so there is potential for IG
Seems to be slowly making its way into gaming.
What are the foliage sets like please? any pics?
ps went to the website and couldn’t find the scale either.
Assume they are suitable for 28-30mm figures as there other stuff ties in with that?
[GOM]One thing, why do sellers have a facility to enlarge the thumbnail, but when you “enlarge” it is no bigger/or even smaller than the thumbnail?[/GOM] lol
Hi folks!
Greetings from Germany and to answer your question: these bits were especially made for 28mm tabletop models. The sets vary in size, some are 3*5cm big, others are 5*8cm.
Our team of brueckenkopf-online.com will have a review on these soon, I’ll keep you updated.
Best regards!
Hi Folks and thanks to Darkover for his fast reply!
The ivy measures 10 to 5 cm!
We add the missing details to our store!
