Angels Of Death Animated Series Coming From Games Workshop
December 17, 2018 by brennon
Games Workshop just announced that they're going to be working on an animated series called Angels Of Death based in the Warhammer 40,000 world.
You can view the trailer above which shows that we're going to be following a band of Blood Angel Space Marines as they get stuck into their work against Xenos forces and more.
I have to say, I'm interested in what they're working on but I think I'll be reserving judgement until we see the finished product. The folks at Warhammer TV have teamed up with those behind the Helsreach project so there are some loyal people working in the background for this.
I'm unconvinced currently but I'm sure that we'll be in for a treat in the near future.
What do you think?

“For the Sanguinius and the Emperor! Death! Death!”
Because that teaser showed Blood Angels I assume that they are either going to be focus of series or are going to be focus in some episodes depending on what series is going to be like.
That looks great.
Of course, they chose the finest space marines of them all too, as they should.
What are you talking about? I didn’t see any Storm Lords.
Interesting, but those, from the brief glance in the trailer, didn’t appear to be Primaris Space Marines.
Interesting, although I think they should have thrown their support behind ‘The Lord Inquisitor’ and made it an official 40k film, then I’d that was successful spun it off into an Inquisition series.
Great start if this go’s down well a film will follow.????
Interesting. I will give it a watch.
First and foremost a toy advert, but yeah it looks droolsome.
Who knows maybe this one is going to be actually good. Besides there are plenty of well written cartoons that are basically that like Batman TAS, X-Men TAS and TF Beast Wars that still hold up when it comes to story and characters and can still be watched even by adults.
Yeah I’m hopeful
I’m digging that animation style
Hmm, no sense of scale on the Imperator… thought it was a dreadnought foot. They need to tone down their alpha maps, everything looks glossier than a glossy candy apply dipped in candy apple gloss!
of course it is glossy.
Camouflage or practical thinking doesn’t apply to 40k warfare 😉
Maybe he expected it to look like it was used like Rebel starfighters in ANH instead of looking like brand new straight from factory. I guess armies of 40k have time to clean and shine armor.
