Excellent show guy. You pretty much nailed it with the “Horrors are basically just free warp charges” tactic. Another tactic I’ve seen is having a summoner just out of range of a Callexus Assassin and spawn Horrors around the assassin. This gives you a screen to protect the assassin and a bunch of shots from the assassin.
The Horrors used to be horrible to play against in Warhammer Fantasy. If you were doing well in killing them you were just growing your opponents army. Doing enough damage to kill off the entire unit was very hard. Especially if there were multiple units in play.
The other option was to ignore them, but then you had to survive a torrent of warpfire during the entire game.

I have painted up quite a few pink horrors for my silver Tower display but I have to say… They aren’t much fun to paint…. Modelling them on the other hand is absolutely amazing. You can have so much fun adding limbs taking them away, doing all sorts of stuff. The painting thing is because you want to give a crisp and dynamic paint job it is very difficult painting and highlighting in only one colour, trying to bring up muscles and all of that sort of thing it just gets tedious.
