I don’t play space wolves but have always loved Bjorn as a character. Battle of the Fang is interesting as its before “current” 40k timeline but after the Horus Heresy. Loved the old lump of lead model.
He is mentioned several times in the book prospero burns. The fight with the demon is also in this book.
Spoilers!
@seldon9 sorry,
Now you know where to find it if you want to read it.
By the way they also have it as audio book.
Bjorn is fantastic, but I always end up reading his name as Bjørn. Bjorn can translates to bear in all of the Scandinavian languages. He was fantastic in bl book Battle of the Fang, he ends up fighting against the daemon primarch Magnus The Red, and is actuly able to hold him off for space wolf reinforcement to arrive. But Bjorn is not just a warrior, he is also a diplomat. After first war of Armageddon, the inquisition and Space wolves is battling each other, and it is Bjorn who is ending the conflict.
This was a particuarly good charted, didnt get to bogged down in tactics and math hammer stats but enough to be useful and a great background on the fluff 🙂
nice one guys Dreadnought’s when terminator’s just aren’t enough.
When Russ, as he and all his cronies were walking out of the great hall on Fenris, “Not you”, I felt so sorry for him. Your Dad and all of your closest mates and brothers are going off on a road trip and you get left behind to babysit the kids. No wonder after it became obvious that they weren’t coming back, he spent the first hundred years of his time as Great Wolf looking for traces of them and where they went. then only when another space wolf pointed out that he was needed now and not constantly looking… Read more »
The Parting of the Ways audio drama is a good one for Bjorn and tells the story of how he came to be in the dreadnought.

I just finished listening to Prospero Burns and hearing how he lost his hand. Not the greatest of books I found but I really enjoyed the idea of the skjald
Ive heard the audio book too, It can be a bit confusing at times. But you get some good insight in to Horus Hersey and the time before.
These fluff oriented 40k charted episodes rock.
So, is Geigor Fell Hand from the Burning of Prospero Bjorn the Fell Handed before he get’s Dreadnoughted?
No @timmoth a completely different character, with a different name. Its after the heresy, after he is Wolf Lord of the Chapter, after Russ leaves that Bjron gets interned in the Dreadnought
Good 40k Charted guys, I echo the above sentiments.
