I enjoy painting horses and I find it odd when some gamers make a great effort painting the rider but then do a minimum paint job on the horse.
I rarely have the opportunity for painting horses myself…
Mounted PCs and NPCs are a rarity in combat in my games, and I’d rather have a separate mini for the mount anyway. Also, no cavalry in Infinity, and I have no cavalry units in my Warmachine/Horde stuff.
Yet, doing this very tutorial has made me want to paint more of that, so I dug out the old metal version of the Green Knight (Games Workshop, but good one), and I got myself the Firforge Templar Knights.
Very cool little models !
