Star Wars: Attack Squadron F2P Game Coming Soon!
December 19, 2013 by crew
Star Wars: Attack Squadron is an upcoming free to play game set in the Star Wars universe. It’s going to be sixteen players in a lobby and feature customizable ships, probably things like weapons, shields and paint schemes.
I think the best thing to think is World of Tanks but with X-Wings and TIE Fighters instead of Shermans and Tigers. It’s got three game modes including free for all, team dogfight and base defence. The public beta sign ups are live now!

Does this sound like the Star Wars game for you?
Well this CG trailer is great, if it travels 15 years back in time and is enojoyed by people from the past. This looks so lame. Probably the game itself will suck too.
F2P sucks.
@yoshi you have to remeber the power if mobile devices is a about a generation behind the consoles and mid range computers. The fact is 16 players pvp means a lot of prosessing. Laser pojectile tracking, player postioning. Refreshing at 30 fames a second for 16 people wirelessly. Now don’t like pay to win but I wont dismiss this game based on graphics.
I’ve signed up for the closed beta. Hopefully will get to enjoy debuging.
personally looking forward to this been a long time since i played a ship based star wars game and it’s worth at least trying if it’s FTP.
I’ll play any flight game that doesn’t have you strapped to rails.
