Soda Pop Miniatures’ Super Dungeon Tactics Shows Up On Steam
December 15, 2016 by stvitusdancern
We all know Super Dungeon Explore by Soda Pop Miniatures and now they have worked in conjunction with Underbite Games to bring the world of Crystalia to life in the form of a video game, Super Dungeon Tactics.
In this game (which we gave you a first look at Gen Con 2015) you can create your guild of heroes and go off exploring Crystalia and fight off the Dark Consul. It has the look and feel of the Super Dungeon Explore board games come to life.
A lot of the same mechanics are carried over to the video game with an emphasis on combat. If you are a fan of Super Dungeon Explore and the world it is built upon, then jump on over to Steam and download it today.
What is your favourite tabletop game that has been made into a video game.

This looks good and I could see myself playing this more than the board game only because I don’t need to convince my friends to play. It’s a sad statement but true. I just can’t get my buddies to play complex games with me.
I agree, Another problem I face with it is that, even if you are using just the base game, it takes so long to set up and so long to play! It’s such a shame I can’t get my stuff out more often!
I’m looking forward to this to get my super dungeon fix. It’s a shame the artwork is unreliable (judging by the dialogue sequence art” . Seems to be something that has plagued the SDE range from the start. I can forgive it for those chibi models tho! ^-^
A video game based on a board game based on video games. Righto
Warhammer Fantasy Battle is a wargame based on an rpg based on a wargame.
warcraft is a video game based on a wargame based on an rpg based on a wargame. 😉
Which was also an RPG
Looks great. Might just have skipped to the top of the ‘easy xmas pressie for self’ category.
