The New Neverwinter Gets It’s Full Intro Cinematic
April 30, 2013 by brennon
The new Neverwinter computer game has finally got it's complete introduction cinematic which you can watch above. If you weren't that interested before this then I bet you will be now...
The trailer shows four of the games classes, the Fighter, Wizard, Rogue and Cleric doing battle against the undead hordes threatening to bring down the city.
You'd hope that these adventurers are at least Epic level or I don't think they're going to be able to take down that Bone Dragon!
What do you think of the new direction with Neverwinter?

I wonder if Drizzt, Dahlia and Artemis are in this game same way as they take part to story in novels.
Love the video, but it is somewhat generic of any fantasy game imho. Gameplay makes a game good, but sometimes companies sell a shiny video before thinking of the game, but I guess if that is how society buy things, I guess it is supply and demand. Anyway, I have to go now and buy that Justin Bieber record…… 😛
There are a lot of gameplay videos out there for Neverwinter you can watch.

This one by TotalBiscuit for example. The game itself is looking really good, but since the cinematic is always a nice draw that’s also a plus.
Very true Brennon, it is a nice little extra. 🙂 I wasn’t trying to bash it, I have just tried to replace WoW so many times that I have grown a bit numb to cinematic trailers. I gave up on all together on online games now though, But secretly wish I didn’t as you can meet some really nice people from around the globe, tat you would not normally meet. 🙂
Justin Beiber?
So last week the kids are all One Direction now with their Leeds Shopping Movie experience
*High pitched girlie scream*
It was all her fault. She might hit their heads XD
Sweet!!
I have managed to get in on some of the earlier betas and it’s a pretty fun game. My one and only grip is with they way the made each 4E class “build” it’s own class in the game so you can’t really mix and match your powers like you could at the table top. Also, since gear is (as I recall) largely targeted to specific classes there is even less variety in how you build your character.
But then again, I have to remind myself.. it IS f2p.
Other than some cinematic scenes I don’t think this game is for me.
