New Hybrid Video/Miniature Game Dungeon Mini Now On Kickstarter
February 3, 2017 by stvitusdancern
There is a new campaign currently on Kickstarter for hybrid miniatures - video game called Dungeon Mini. In this game, you get a miniature that interacts with your tablet to fight and explore your way through a dungeon.
Currently, there are two miniatures to chose from, an elf and a dwarf. In typical fashion, the dwarf uses an axe and shield and the elf uses a bow and arrow.
From what I gather you use your miniature to navigate through a dungeon on the screen of the tablet and interact with the environment. It actually looks like it takes the place of a stylus. From the preview video, it looks like the program will be well designed and the miniatures look pretty good as well.
However, this game brings back to me at least shades of the now defunct Golem Arcana which we invested in heavily and learned after a few games the miniatures were really not needed to play the game.
Why not check out the Kickstarter page and judge for yourself if this might be something you want to invest in.
Do you have a favourite interactive miniatures game?

Looks like a bad tablet game with very little use of the actual minis.
hmmmmmm ….. 83000 Euros is a big ask to get it over the line. I am not yet convinced
should have been turn based, but you just moving a figure around when you could you a finger or image…shame
I think is bad idea.
Child game to my eyes, at first I thought that this want to make a living board-tiles, that is a very good idea. Imagine descent of dungeon saga, without the need to connect tiles and at the same time they will be full of light effects, smoke etc but with all the other board game elements untouched (dice, cards…)
I would support a game like that but not this.
not a fan seems similar to other thing I’ve seen

I don’t have high hopes for the game going any where. But the minis look good and that is really all I care about from this.
The miniatures are fine but as a game I’m not interested. I’ll be surprised if it funds.
I like the idea of the map being digital under the minis and aware of their positions and status but gesturing with minis to do base-to base combat seems…odd.
