Fight Dark Forces On The Streets Of London In The Order: 1886

The Order: 1886 is a new video game coming to next generation, or more specifically PS4 later this year. In it you play as a band of soldiers trying to hold back the darkness with steampunk inspired weaponry. It's not only the monsters you have to deal with though in this dystopian London...

As well as the monsters you will also be dealing with rebels who are certainly getting in the way. The screenshots you see above look like they should be from a cutscene but these are in-game images! Yeah, pretty impressive right?

One of the interesting twists in the storyline that people have already been speculating about is that The Order themselves, referred to as Knights, might actually either be descendants of the Knights of the Round Table or the Knights themselves given a longer life in order to continue protecting the realm.

It all sounds very cool and you can check out a trailer above which shows off the world in a bit more depth. As there are plenty of skirmish games out there in this same vein it should be a good shout for some of you.
