Some of you might know that a couple of us here at BoW are big fans of Lionhead Studios' Fable games. Well there is exciting news as it looks like a HD remake of Fable: The Lost Chapters is on the way!
Lionhead have unveiled a quick teaser trailer, in which the iconic villain of the first Fable game appears in all his redesigned HD glory.
This is particularly exciting for me as the original Fable game was perhaps my first introduction to fantasy role playing games, and from there to tabletop role playing like Dungeons and Dragons. From video games to tabletop, it's kind of a reverse history of role playing isn't it?

Please not an MMORPG, I have little enough time as it is. Personally I think Fable: The Lost Chapters is the best in terms of story and villain, but in all other respects Fable 2 wins out. look forward to a remake it’s one of the few games that makes me wish my original xbox still worked…
Personally I’m hoping for two things from this:
1) That it’s released on PC, and
2) That they might make a re-release of Fable 2 on PC. Why they skipped releasing that on PC, I have no idea. They did 1 and 3, so why not 2?
They’ve said through an interview it’s 360 only (for now).
