Join Drizzt & Friends In D&D Video Game, Dark Alliance
December 13, 2019 by brennon
Arriving as a spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (and the second instalment on consoles) we're getting a chance to dive right back into the hack n' slash of Dungeons & Dragons with Dark Alliance which was announced at the Game Awards this week.
This new version of the game appears inspired by Drizzt and his companions from his own array of stories within the world of Dungeons & Dragons. You will be able to play as the iconic duel-wielding Drow Ranger or his friends and comrades Cattie-Brie, Wulfgar and finally Bruenor. The trailer for the game is very different from others I've seen but it's certainly action-packed.
If the game follows the same vein as the likes of Vermintide and Left 4 Dead then I am all for this game. It appears to be first person from what I could postulate via the trailer but I'm sure we'll know more as additional gameplay footage arrives in the coming months.
I am all for this as anything D&D related catches my eye currently!

That front view is very weird.
