The world of Pathfinder is coming to us as a collectable card game in the near future. The new digital game is going to be available on mobile...

Here's what Paizo said...

"Paizo Inc., publisher of the award-winning Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, and 37Games, announce today the development of Pathfinder Duels, the first digital collectable card game based on the Pathfinder universe.

Pathfinder Duels will be a digital collectable card game based on the award-winning Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path. Players will build competitive decks around iconic Pathfinder heroes and villains. The game is in the early stages of development and is expected to release September 2017.

Says Paizo CEO Lisa Stevens, "I was intimately involved with the creation of Magic: The Gathering in 1992, so when 37Games and DragonClaw Studio approached me with a plan to produce a digital Pathfinder CCG, my mind immediately started to dream up what cards might go into my Amiri deck!"

"It’s an honour to work with Paizo to bring the Pathfinder world to a new generation of mobile players," says Allen Huang, project director at 37Games. "Thanks to the simultaneous turn mechanism, Pathfinder Duels is more than just a strategy game. It is a game of speed and wits. One must always be guessing the opponent’s next move and coming up with new, unique strategies to prevail. We guarantee you haven’t seen this in any other CCG."

This sounds rather awesome and I like the idea of playing more Pathfinder, especially within its world, on mobile and in a digital format.

Do you think that you're going to be diving into this when it hits later this year?
