Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Brings Gamers Combat’s Future
May 2, 2014 by dracs
The reveal trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game has hit YouTube and it is looking awesome.
Advanced Warfare promises to bring players to the battlefields of tomorrow, featuring all sorts of high-tech gear, from exo-skeleton combat suits, to cloaking devices and even hover bikes.
This trailer, featuring a dramatic (and rather sinister) monologue from Kevin Spacey, showcases plenty of examples of awesome sci-fi gear that we will be seeing in the new game.
Now, admittedly I am not much of a Call of Duty fan (I much preferred it when it was set in WWII), but the sight of all these cool gadgets has definitely caught my interest. They should hopefully bring new ways to liven up gameplay, as well as looking just plain awesome. Maybe this could finally be the one that will get me back into first person shooters.
Are any of you Call of Duty fans excited about this trailer?
Kevin sounds a bit bored to me.
Its been the same tired game in different packaging … its probably that now as well
Ghosts sucked bricks, but I’ll buy this used just to see Kevin’s performance.
KEVIN SPACEY! Take my money Activation!
That’s looks bril.
If this is the new Treyarch CoD game, then I’ll probably pick it up. They’ve at least kept me interested in their games, tried new things (to mixed success), and not felt like they were insulting my intelligence.
If it’s Infinity Ward, then I wash my hands on it. They’ve had three games to draw me back in (MW2, MW3, and Ghosts) and all of them have been dreadful in my opinion. Flat out insulting in MW2 and 3’s case with the teleporting Russian navy and tanks. So I’ll be passing, hover bikes or not.
Oooh boy I’m an idiot. I completely missed the “Sledgehammer Games” logo at the end. I’ll just go back to my corner…
