Werewolf: The Apocalypse Video Game On The Cards From Cyanide
January 21, 2017 by brennon
Focus Home Interactive & Cyanide Studio are working together to bring Werewolf: The Apocalypse (one of my favourite role-playing games) to the digital realm with its own official video game.
Vampire: The Masquerade turned out to be quite a good role-playing game in the digital realm, even if it was a bit janky at times. Hopefully, Werewolf will receive something of the same treatment.
It's going to be hard striking a balance because while Werewolf had aspects of bloodthirsty combat in it where you were ripping your way through enemies it also had a gentler side to it. You had to live with the 'monster' you may have turned into and exactly what that meant, as well as being suddenly thrust into a world od responsibility as you had to uphold the rules of your Tribe and keep the world safe.
One would hope we're getting a role-playing game packed with interesting and difficult choices.
What do you think?

I really enjoyed the vampire game when that came out so will be looking into this as well
What did that come out on? Always interested in that IP.
PC, gog.com has both for good prices.
Finally, Thank you Focus Home Interactive & Cyanide Studio!
If this is successful enough maybe they’ll make a game for Mage the Ascension.
This looks interesting, particularly since I have always prefered Werewolf: The Apocalypse, to Vampire: The Mascarade. (and as @lichlord10 said Mage would be a good game too … or Changeling (another favorite)
