Grab An Apartment At TTCombat’s HUGE Galaxy Building
May 10, 2016 by brennon
TTCombat have put together a frankly absurd and wonderful looking terrain kit for your Modern and Pulp gaming. See what you make of Galaxy Tower which is just...well, insane.
This building truly is as big as you think it is. You see Batman there right in the middle of the image - yep, that's the 35mm one from Knight Models. It stands at an impressive 120cm tall.
As you can see it has a whole additional set of terrain INSIDE the building so it isn't just a massive façade. You could properly battle your way up through this building (or down it!) in your games.
Through The Keyhole
We also have a closer look at some of the details on this building. Here we have their entrance way which is look cavernous in the extreme. In terms of space on the ground floor the huge building covers 90cm wide and deep.
There are also some wonderfully well made balcony bits where you can hunker down and get a modicum of cover.
The kit also comes with the acrylic pieces that you see here which add to the overall look of the building. Painting this is going to be a challenge but I reckon that an airbrush would be your friend!
What do you think?

Wow, this is quite awesome. It has always been a pet peeve of mind that 28mm scenery always looks too small for the figures, but this building looks spot-on in size. And a secondary benefit is that you will probably only need to deploy 1 building :).
Is this the one that was on display at Salute?
Yup!
Yeah I saw this at Salute, its inspiring.
I managed to get Spectre Miniatures to purchase one, expect one in their backdrops soon.
It has so much potential; Infinity, Modern Combat, Batman, Marvel, Walking dead, AVP (with some work)
I think I’m in love. I’d love to play Judge Dredd with him and Anderson starting at the bottom and working their way up to the top. Absolutely awesome.<3<3<3
Saw it at salute looked amazing but was a bit out of my budget on the day
Now you can take your miniatures up the Galaxy Tower! 😀
Takes gaming to whole new level. Well nine levels to exact. It was quite a size love to know how many they have sold.
My wife never comments at my frequent purchases but I think she might just have something to say if I came with one of these.
I know exactly what you mean.
Bought one at Salute, just waiting for it to be made and delivered 🙂
🙂 Brilliant What games do you have in mind for it
Did you need to get planning permission ?
Infinity, Judge Dredd, maybe even a zombie(cide) tower 🙂
looks brilliant.
Wow..that’s insanely beautiful 😎
I want one.
I see Infinity RPG here.
Wow that looks amazing even unpainted… I wonder what shipping to the US would be … *shudder* …
This is a great piece of scenery – I’m just going to need a bigger gaming room first.
I wonder if I could buy one without my wife finding out…
You could probably buy it without her knowing but she will probably figure it out once you start assembling the thing!
Remember asking for forgiveness it easier that asking for permission
This thing is the entire footprint of a Batman or Marvel board so throw down a bit of scatter terrain and its a table all by itself.
Its impressive if ridiculous and probably not practical for most of us.
Need a few to make an Infinity table – or maybe even try to do Dreed
This is perhaps the only time I have ever seen terrain with that kind of price tag (£200GBP) that I have actually considered buying I have been looking at it since it went up on the website.
I saw this at Salute and assumed it was a custom board. It’s amazing that you can get it. I’d love one one day, although God knows where I’d put it, or how I’d transport it anywhere…
Also, how on earth would you fill all the rooms? It would be sad to play games in an empty building.
I better not buy this and place it outside. For if I do, I will stare up in awe and surely have a bird poop in my open mouth.
This is what dreams are made of.
The first thing I thought of when I saw this was the Harrier scene from True Lies.
