The C’thu Take Shape For Relics By Tor Gaming
April 3, 2016 by brennon
Tor Gaming have shown off some of the updated renders for some of their creatures in the world of Relics. The C'thu are taking form and they will be swarming into our reality to cause terror. Will you be fighting against them or with them?
First up we have the Hounds of Cantaaris who look terrifying; much more so than in their artwork. I would love to see these with some blood flecking from their maws. The motion and poses here have been very nicely done.
Following along from them we also have the Shogra who are so incredibly strange. Working with these Cthulhu inspired models means that you can go utterly off the wall when it comes to what body parts and anatomies they have.
Last but not least we have the Thorns & Barbs of Thamos...
These are a little more alien in look and so you could probably use these outside of the world of Relics in your dungeons. I could see these being the tendrils of a larger beast which you have to tackle as an end-game boss.
What do you think?

Those do look really good.
These models and the whole game look very interesting. Once they have some finished models I may have to buy some.
Ooo, put a Chaos Marine backpack on those Shogra and they’ll be some beautiful Tzeentchian Possessed. 😉
…not a bad idea! It is really nice – a nice interpretation.
love the thorns & barbs ones.
And this is from the game with the puppets? I actually had to check it out, it seemed like something you’d see in Malifaux or Dark Age.
Yep. The game with the puppets, the chicken-riding Goblin Knights, the BDSM dwarves and the evil fairy elves.
Relics has some great, characterful, twisted sculpts. One of my favourite ranges.
