Coming Soon from Tor Gaming…
March 30, 2011 by beerogre
If you haven't had a chance to check out Relics from Tor Gaming yet, then take a run over to their site and check it out... their Quick Start Rules are FREE!!!
But that's not all, check out this sneak peek they sent us of their soon to be released miniature for the Orcnar faction... the Orcnar Beorn!
The Orcnar are big and brutal and this guy seems bigger and more brutal than most. have a look at the video playlist at the top of the article, there are quite a few pretty miniatures there.
Of course you don't just have to use this guy for Relics, he could easily become a D&D monster or perhaps he might proxy for some mutilated Dark Eldar abomination.
Either way, it's a cracking model and the game is well worth a look. Stay tuned for more coverage of Relics later in the year.

Nice minis!
SCAWWY!
Looks really good.
Am looking forward to having some Relics when the existing backlog clears some.
Nice looking stuff, but really? How many minis games can the gamer base really support?
What you want to do is get yourself into D&D. Then all minis are viable and you don’t need to worry if there is a game or not.
I look at these and think… I can fill a dungeon with these and they can all jump Justin’s Dwarf and do unspeakable things to him… just another day in the life of a Dwarf Paladin! 😀
However, if there is a game, so much the better. Which is the case here. 🙂

Not got a big budget and don’t play much 🙁
But some things will just look cool painted up and it is nice to have the options.
I reckon that even If I don’t ever use the Relics own set of rules the minis will add something a bit different to another system.
I like the possibilty of using these as DE beasties as Andy said in the write up.
My only complaint about all these games and minis and systems is…
there just isn’t enough time!!! lol
