Siflor (miNatour) have been making static grass clumps like these for a few years now (just ask anyone who plays Flames of War). I got a pack of the Army Painted stuff via mail order a month back…it is much the same stuff, my biggest criticism is the price…Army Painter only give you about 50% of what comes in a similar priced pack from Siflor.
The real kick is that what Army Painter is selling you IS Siflor (check the packaging, it is made by the same parent company that makes Siflor) with their own branding.
