Ronnie talks with John about their new Zombies which are the icing on the cake for the undead range and Ronnie has the Zombie 3 Up’s with him.
I’ve had a wee poke around the Mantic site and I have to say I’m impressed with the box sets which are now up for preorder :

Yes you did read that right the Horde has 50 in it I mean 50! I would say there’s going to be allot of late nights painting a head for a load of you guys.

awesome. I am leaning to the Undead battle Set coming in Sept for my next fantasy army. Hard to beat an entire army in a box for such a great price. Looking forward to Mantic’s rules too.

This compared to the new dwarfs coming out, I am really impressed by some of the quality coming out of Mantics in the next few months! Really can’t wait to see how War of Kings fleshes out over the next couple years!!

The thing that’s really struck me about the zombies is that they really could be used for any setting, Fantasy, Modern, Scifi…whatever. The clothes seem to be tattered enough that they could have started out as anything before being reduced to manky strips.
I love the undead range. These figs are just awesome. If I wasn’t such a dwarf freak ever since my first reading of ‘the Hobbit’, I might actuallly considering buying those.
I’ve been thinking about starting mantic undead after the boxed set comes out, except if their human range (I know it’s coming) is based on norse mythology, then I’m gonna buy a 200-model viking army and not think about the consequences!

I just got my undead warhost in. They are fantastic. I am really looking forward to picking up the zombies!!
I’d love to get some Mantic figs, too bad I play mainly in a GW store and can’t use the buggers!
Im loving the Mantic coverage and have recently ordered a £99 undead army deal since hearing news of the upcoming rule set for KoW. Cant wait for the zombies, the sculpts are fantastic and the prices are very affordable!

Very glad I haven’t assembled my ghouls yet so that I can do some mixing and matching with the zombie parts.
Ronnie and the guys at Mantic are producing some great products with a good understanding of cost effective army building.
As the ‘new boys’ on the block, it is very refreshing to see them interacting with the community and bringing a sense of humor to the hobby 🙂

you know… I still haven’t gotten my free ghoul, I was hoping to paint it and have it up, know when they are or were supposed to be shipped out?
I like to paint space marines only got a few though, dang!
