The Wild West Comes To Town In 15mm From Sarissa Precision
August 30, 2021 by avernos
Sarissa Precision has been making fantastic MDF kits for a slew of scales and periods for a while now, but over the past two months, they have turned their attention to the United States and the 19th Century in 15mm.
North American Town Set // Sarissa Precision
The North American town set has nine buildings ranging from grand Mansion through to plain old shacks for people to eke out the day to day existence before dying of dysentery. All of the buildings can be bought separately and Sarissa also offer sets for major battlefields of the American Civil War, such as Gettysburg, Antietam and Manassas. As you can see they are a great way of filling a table for your games and will be especially handy for people diving into ACW with Black Powder, but I know what you're asking. How do you get from town to town? Fear not for Sarissa have thought of this as well
For Lloyd // Sarissa Precision's 15mm Train Set
The Train set comes with the Steam Locomotive & Tender, four different types of rolling stock, a station and water tower, and enough train to span five feet of tabletop. So whether you want to hold Atlanta or rob a train you have more than enough to be getting on with. Again all the pieces are available as separate kits and extra track can also be picked up if more is needed. The only downside I see is that the track only comes in straights so no curving out of town! Apart from that it is a fantastic looking set of kits and should look the part on the table.
How long do you think before Lloydie spots this?

Very cool set
Great looking civil war time terrain scenery.
Not in the slightest bit interested in american civil war, but I would be interested in using the terrain for an old west RPG.
Does anyone make 15mm cowboys, natives and townfolk?
Blue Moon (via Old Glory UK) have a big Western range.
