Warcradle Scenics Build Rio Sonora For Wild West Exodus
November 2, 2020 by brennon
Warcradle Scenics are offering up a set of new terrain pieces for those diving into the world of Wild West Exodus. This new set of 35mm terrain is up for pre-order right now and focuses in on Rio Sonora.
Rio Sonora Town Hall // Warcradle Scenics
The terrain that you see here for use in Wild West Exodus is to represent the small but productive Rio Sonora which has been quite peaceful over the years. It seems like things have changed of late as more gangs and warbands from New Mexico and Arizona have fallen upon the place.
Rio Sonora Workshop // Warcradle Scenics
As it stands now you're very likely to see Outlaws clashing with Lawmen and Union Agents throughout its streets and there are plenty of innocents that end up getting caught up in the fighting. Those that remain in Rio Sonora are now hard-bitten and as deadly as the miscreants that have invaded these buildings.
Rio Sonora Foundry // Warcradle Scenics
All of the terrain that you see here is made out of MDF and comes pre-coloured so all you need to do is assemble it. The terrain already looks good but I imagine that if you added a bit of weathering powder and such into the mix you could make it more fitting for a desert location.

You can then battle it out amongst the streets of Rio Sonora and of course atop and within these buildings too. The burning leftover from the cutting process on these terrain pieces actually helps add to the look I feel. It looks like dirt, grime and blasting powder!
Rio Sonora Dwellings // Warcradle Scenics
The collection runs from around £12 through to £28 for the larger Town Hall that we saw earlier in this piece. So, if you're looking to outfit a tabletop these come in at a pretty reasonable price! You can also check out a selection of Arcades (three to be specific!) which can be viewed over on their webstore HERE.
Are you tempted to dive in and pick up this terrain for Wild West Exodus?

A dream table set-up of mine has a mix of these and 4Ground on it,it would look amazing.
I could see some of these buildings working really well for Protectorate of Menoth on a Warmachine-themed table.
Ooh Mandalorian terrain? an the church could be used for many settings.
Wild West Exodus Alamo would be awesome…
That would be awesome.Travis,Bowie and Crockett as Faces / Bosses with various types of troops would make for a great posse.Plus a mexican army posse under Santa Anna to go with them.
