Get Warbases’ 28mm American Civil War Terrain At Colours!
September 8, 2023 by brennon
Colours 2023, the wargaming show that is coming up this weekend, will mark the first time that you'll be able to pick up the 28mm American Civil War terrain range from Warbases. These could be a nice match to the American Civil War miniatures we've seen pop up from 1st Corps perhaps?

Update: Check Out The Releases Here
There are some nice terrain kits for you to choose from, all in MDF, which you can use to recreate the various battlefields that were fought over during the American Civil War. Here, we only have a portion of the releases that are coming out as there will be ten of them in total.
Jackson House // Warbases
The idea is that these terrain pieces have been made nice and affordable but without skimping on the detail. I would say that these are just the ticket for building great American Civil War tabletops and focusing the action around key locations on the battlefield. Getting control of buildings and using them to advance your position can be quite important.
Burnside Cottage // Warbases
There are some great buildings for you to choose from. A variety of these are just basic (in the best way) houses but you've also got the likes of the Burnside Cottage (above) which features a nice garden and The Sawmill below. Fighting over a sawmill seems like a good idea as you can use the premises to craft your defences for your forts.
The Sawmill // Warbases
These terrain kits are going to be available from Colours 2023 and then will be on general release. If you're heading down to Newbury Racecourse, let us know what it was like!
Will you be picking up these kits?
