TRE Games Get Raided Aboard Their Japanese Trading Ship
November 19, 2018 by brennon
TRE Games has released another big new boat for your 28mm games. This is a Japanese Sengoku Era Trading Ship which can be used for your games like Test Of Honour, ready to be raided by an enterprising clan.
There is plenty of space on this vessel for you to be playing some fights out aboard it. Imagine if you had this sat at a dock where one clan was trying to get it ready to go whilst the other was attempting to burn it.
The ship construction is crafted out of hardwood and plywood and looks like a perfect piece for someone wanting to create a more naval setting for their games set in Feudal Japan.
What do you make of the ship?

That is one great looking ship.
Would also look good in James’s themed fantasy games like Bushido, or in Mordheim as a Nipponese trading vessel (Might even work in Age Of Sigmar – there’s bound to be room for a Japanese themed nation somewhere in the Mortal Realms). And come to think of it, it could also work for 40k and other sci-fi games where there can exist Japan flavoured feudal worlds.
very nice remove the mast would make an interesting flying boat ?
I am very interested in this ship as well as a couple other Japanese ships. But my wallet =(
I’m a huge fan of TRE games kits. I already have a large pile waiting to be assembled to go with my Lord of the Rings Khandish army.
This ship looks just as amazing and up to their usual incredible standard
This is a really nice model; having looked at their website it’s in very good company. Definitely a manufacturer I’m going to have to look at more. This ship would be perfect for Test of Honour and there seems like there’s even enough room on board to use some tactics rather than being cramped into a small space by the lovely terrain.
My wako pirates fron the Kenseï range would love to board this ship !
