Mantic’s TerrainCrate Kickstarter Final Days Approach
May 11, 2017 by brennon
Mantic are closing in on the final days of their TerrainCrate Kickstarter and they wanted to show off some of the 3D printed examples of their terrain to show off how it's all coming together.
Here you can see a selection of their terrain from a variety of their Crates including the Mine Cart and Track which you see above and the Wizard's Study below...
The detail looks great and while obviously, these aren't the finished product they look fantastic and would be welcome on my gaming table any day. As mentioned before with the Reaper Bones and WizKids plastic miniatures available soon it's not going to be long before a Dungeon Master has everything they need.
You can see more of the terrain available below with this Tavern scene...
...and this Thief who is hanging around a warehouse somewhere trying to steal some Crates!
I think of the sets we're seeing here I'm most impressed with the Wizard's Study and the Tavern set.
What do you think of these examples?

This is a great KS!
a great range to choose from.
I am down for two boxes…… I stared out just wanting the one but the outdoors one started to look great for battleground scatter so I went for it also
I splurged and went in for all 3 boxes. I don’t need every little peice, but there’s so much variety mixed in. Planning to use it mostly as scatter terrain for skirmish games, and i may be tempted to build an underground mine board if I ever get the time.
I went in one expecting sci-fi. I stayed in thinking town. I’m currently settled on dungeon and wondering how many add-ons
Am I only one curious why does it feel like so many things by Mantic are Kickstarter related, you’d think they could afford different stuff, but guessing its good marketing/cheaper? Dunno feels weird.
