Knights Of Dice Tease New Malaysian Shop WIP’s For Sentry City
March 29, 2017 by deltagamegirl22
Knights of Dice shared some awesome pictures of their latest WIP for a Malaysian Shop House.
These guys are great at incorporating real life into their pieces and this was inspired by a recent visit of theirs to Malaysia.
This will be available in several variants for Sentry City in 28mm scale, as well as with Sci-Fi variants for their Neo Sentry line.
What do you think of this lovely building?

This is an awesome looking building – the quality and detail you’d expect from Knights of Dice but getting better and better. It’s good to see them adding interior detail to their kits now too. Looking forward to this, and great idea to provide a sci-fi/cyberpunk version as well as a modern day one. Hope to see more like this soon!
That really speaks to me, it’s beautiful.
Very pretty, will it be a new range then?
Good question! I’d assumed not based on the fact it’s being linked to existing lines – but there’s going to be five different variants, so who knows? I suspect that if there’s enough demand for more similar buildings then there’s no reason it couldn’t happen. I guess it’s difficult to gauge demand for a kit that, on the one hand is really beautiful, but on the other is not necessarily an obvious choice for any given game settling. I can see the Neo Sentry versions being really popular, especially with Infinity players, and Infinity is one game that is very… Read more »
I could see it being used in Batman perhaps as a League of Shadows headquarters, or something along those lines. That is a bit of a one-off though admitedly.
Nice idea, and I guess if that was your faction you’d probably want to reuse it more than once.
Not that every building on the tabletop has to have a story I suppose. Maybe my last post was overthinking things – if it’s pretty and it’s the right general genre then I’d probably use it plenty. But it’s nice to find a good fit for things.
they look great love the Victorian look.
I’ve been watching their stuff for some months now, especially the Infinity buildings, but the shipping to North America gets a little crazy. They had mentioned they were working on a North American distributor – hope it works out.
They have had discounts on International Shipping in the past for periods of time, so that’s worth keeping an eye on. If you have a local retailer you get on with you could also try and get them to contact Viv at KoD and have them order directly to get stock of the kind of things you want – that’s what we did. It can be a bit of hassle for them but is ultimately going to lead to profit, so it doesn’t hurt to ask.
