Dive Into Superhero Battles With PWork’s Modern City Terrain

PWork Wargames have added a host of awesome new terrain to their webstore for those looking to play out some superhero battles in games like Marvel: Crisis Protocol and the Batman Miniatures Game. See what you think of their Modern City Buildings.

There is a new selection of terrain available in and around the 35mm to 40mm scale which covers games like Marvel: Crisis Protocol and the Batman Miniatures Game. That means lots of classically New York-style apartment buildings which would be awesome to scale and fight between in the alleyways.

Each building set comes with a big MDF building which should be easy to bring to life with a generous application of airbrushing and weathering. I think you could go with a good block colour for most of the frontages as well as a standard brick colour for the edges. You could then just cover the buildings in grime to make them fit in with that weathered city look!

You'll also note that the buildings come with a few additional extras as well. The smaller City Building comes with some bonus scatter terrain and the Apartments come with a pair of street lights which could illuminate some dark deeds!

You can also get yourself some smaller Store Buildings which could be fun to drop in to break up line of sight in games. I do like that you get so much extra terrain in these sets as the little pieces of scatter are good for gameplay purposes, especially in Marvel: Crisis Protocol.

Capping things off, the new collection also features a great set with the Subways & Benches. You've got two Subway entrances/exits but also a load of benches, signs, street lights and more. I can't wait to see people picking these up and throwing them at their opponents. Hulk smash!

As you can see, the terrain is looking great when set up on one of their street gaming mats! I really like the height that this terrain brings to the tabletop and it should make for some really dynamic tabletops.
