Still not sold on the idea of card terrain tbh
But I love that inventor’s house!!!
Might have to download a couple of freebies to suck it and see.
There is a coachhouse and a hovel as well as the observatory to try out.

Its all in the paper you use.
Use the thickest card your printer can put through , its usually 220 – 240 gsm or thereabouts for normal home printers, the thicker card really makes a difference.
What puts me off is the 2D nature of surface detail which leaves me a little flat (groan)
Being a modeller by nature the temptation is to print off a template to make from sturdier material and add details and paint.
That would be the theory
In practice it means adding a billion jobs in the already overflowing jobs pending tray! lol
Thats the beauty of cardboard terrain though, it doesnt add to the “to do” list, you just print it off stick it together and hey presto you have your terrain. Obviously it doesnt look as good as properly modelled 3D terrain but with a few embellishments and a sprinkling of static grass it can look passeable
well, the cardboard terrain is nice for geting terrain quickly, then you can replace it ata later date, a bit at the time.

What many don’t see is the fact that a modeller is being given a perfect present with any Cardstock building – not only can it be built as is but can be custom/modded easily. The other huge plus for those that have a heavy handed gaming crew – by mounting on foamboard and (upon a true drying) a light spray of sealant there is some terrain that is just a strong (or stronger) as resin.
