Steam Around In The Fleet Of Iron From DarkOps Terrain
June 24, 2016 by brennon
DarkOps continue to impress on the high seas with their Ironclad - Fleet of Iron ship collection which is available over on their webstore. If you're looking to do some Steampunk gaming then these might be the right choice for you.
There are three ships within the range and all of them are to 28mm scale meaning that you can actually play some fun skirmishes on these. Each of the designs are very different too which is neat.
As mentioned over on their webstore these could also work for those of you looking to Historical games and the American Civil War for example. They might not be entirely accurate but they could work on the rivers of the US.
As well as for Historical and Pulpy use I think these would be great in some Fantasy settings where you're looking to introduce some steam and whirring gears. For example this could very easily be a Dwarven trading fleet that puffs its way looking to deliver their gold and other precious metals.
I think these three ships are looking great and it would be neat to see them used in a proper scenario setting as well as just as terrain.
What do you think?

ooh, some New Orleans/Vicksburg inspired action on the Mississippi would be good…
the last two would be perfect for the showdown burring the civil war.
dark ops are amazing
Cool, these would make great objectives for Exodus.
